Donations
We are funded solely by the Government - by you, as a tax payer. This leaves little money spare for initiatives so we rely heavily on The Friends of Castle Primary School who work tirelessly to help us - for example, this year they have contributed significantly towards refurbishing an under-used area into a new library.
From time to time, we also have specific projects and receive unexpected donations from kind individuals and charities/companies.
We are currently raising money to provide children who have a limited number of books at home with access to the 'Book in a Box' project. More details can be seen at https://www.bookina-box.co.uk/
