Home Assisted Learning
Regular Reading at home is always our focus every week (even in the holidays!). We'd like all childrne to read at least 4 times each week (every day is even better). We give out 'Regular Reading' stickers each week to children who achieve this and record it in their Reading Record. These can then be exchanged for a 'Bob the Book Machine' token when enough stickers are collected (currrently 12).
Our weekly HAL also includes a 'Big Talk', Maths, spelling, an outdoor and physical activity. These tasks all align with our curriculum goals and school values!
