Y6 PGL Camp News!
The story so far...
Monday - after boarding the ferry at 2.23 pm to travel across to the Isle of Wight, our campers arrived at Little Canada at 3.55 pm to pouring down rain.
That didn't stop our adventurers though, they spent the evening running around playing Cluedo - PGL style.
Fueled with a cooked breakfast and toast (some even tried and enjoyed porridge), the plan for Tuesday was zip wire and buggy building in the morning. Eventually some sunshine broke through for the children to enjoy a sensory trail and trapeze in the afternoon.
Following a settled night, today, (Wednesday) the children are all looking forward to a jam packed day of activities, including: Challenge Course, Vertical Climb, Aeroball and Abseiling. Unfortunately, it is still raining, but they are all having so much fun that they don't seem to be taking much notice!
Today is Thursday and once again it is raining but the children are ready and raring to go after eating their cooked breakfasts and porridge (which they are thoroughly enjoying!). The plan for today is Orienteering, Dragon Boat Racing (if the wind drops - Survival if not) then after lunch there is Fencing and Archery planned before this evening's camp fire. Hopefully the rain will stop for that!
Everyone had a great night last night with a sing-song around the beach camp fire. This morning will be the Giant Swing and Climbing Wall before heading home. We will text you with the expected arrival home time, once off the ferry and on the road home.
