Grittleton House - Monday 13 to Friday 17 June
We will endeavour to update this page every afternoon to keep you up-to-date with all the activities.
Previously staff have experienced difficulties getting a mobile signal or wifi so we apologise for any delay in getting photos and news to you. If this is the case we will text messages when possible instead.
Day 1
The children arrived, ate lunch and unpacked in their rooms before exploring the centre. It was then straight in 5 group activities, these included: climbing wall and escape rooms.
Day 2
Most children slept (for a while) at least - with a few (very early) risers wanting to be the first in the queue for a shower! Croissants & toast for breakfast which went down a treat. Activities today inclde: buggy buidling; climbing wall; aeroball and disc golf. The weather is glorious. Tea was mac 'n cheese. Bed at 8.30pm. All tired & asleeep by 9pm!
Day 3
Sausages for breakfast which made the children very happy! Activities today include: den buidling and a whole group water fight after lunch. Lots of smiles all day. The children clebartared Freddies' birthday with a cake and music. Mr M visited and led a massive game of football in the evening. Bedtime a breeze as they are all so tired!
Day 4
Children were woken by 'wake me up, before you go, go' today. Eggs, toast, cereals & yogurt for breakfast. Thursday's ctivities included water rollers and hoverboarding! There was a BBQ for dinner (in nthe evening sunshine). Evening activities were a giant humann art attack and a game of taskmasker!
