Monday 20 February to Friday 7 April  2017 inclusive  (FRIDAY 10 MARCH INSET DAY)

REMINDER - As always, monies need to be paid weekly in advance or for termly, on the first week back to school.  School Meals will be cancelled after one week if not paid in advance and children will need to bring a home packed lunch with them. .

Sorry, we cannot book children in on a daily ad-hoc basis.

 We start back on Menu Week 2.

 The cost for the whole of Term 4, if your child has a meal every day, is £81.60 for Years 3 to 6 and £57.80 for Early Years 3+. This is for the period as above.   Cheques will need to be payable to 'Castle Primary School' and no longer 'B&NES' please. For your convenience, you can also pay online into our bank account, details as follows, please just send us a quick email to let us know that you have made payment (don't forget to put a reference on the transfer, eg.  The Office is always happy to work out individual meal amounts for you.

Please note that Meat Free Monday's will be our Jacket Potato day with a variety of fillings over the four week menu.  (Jacket Potatoes are no longer cooked to order on the other days of the week).

Universal Free School Meals

Since September 2014 for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Children, the government fund schools to provide each of these children a free nutritious hot meal, saving families up to £380 per year per child!

Universal Free School Meals are for all children within this school age range and is not to be confused with the free meals linked with various benefits. If you are in receipt of any of the following qualifying benefits then please complete and return the form below.

Qualifying Benefits: Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance, Employment Suport Allowance, Child Tax Credit, Pension Credit, Working Tax Credit run-on (4 week term benefit when Working Tax Credit stops), Aslyum Seeker or Universal Credit. Please note that Working Family Tax Credit is not a qualifying benefit for Free School Meals.
