Mental Maths Resources

At Castle the children work on Maths targets everyday. Targets are based on a wide range of mental maths skills and are the building blocks which children need to help them with their classwork. The children start to work on maths targets during their time in Year 1 and continue until the end of Year 6.

Children are supported in achieving their targets in school by the teaching staff and really benefit from additional support at home. To help you support your children in achieving their targets we have listed some website which will help your children reinforce the skills they have been learning. In addition - if you have an IPhone or IPad we have listed some free Aps which will really help your children.
