How to find us

PLEASE TRAVEL TO US ON FOOT, BICYCLE OR PUBLIC TRANSPORT WHENEVER POSSIBLE.  NEWLANDS ROAD IS A CUL DE SAC AND IS VERY BUSY, ESPECIALLY AT PEAK TIMES, AND PARKING IS LIMITED AS THIS IS A BUSY, RESIDENTIAL STREET.

On foot ...

Castle Primary School has pedestrian access via Newlands Road from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm.  Pedestrian access via Dunster Road is restricted for safety reasons and is open from 7.30 to 9.15 am and again from 2.45 to 3.30 pm.  If there is a club running (excluding Extended Services), the Dunster Road gate will be open until 10 minutes after the end of that club.   There are a number of footpaths allowing easy access, avoiding Newlands Road.

By Bicycle ... 

We have a lot of cycle shelters on site and also some purpose-designed scooter stores.

By Bus ... 

There is a bus stop at Cedar Drive, a very short distance from Newlands Road.  Please note that these are 'westbound' routes.

By Train ...

Keynsham Station is the nearest to school, served by trains to Bath or Bristol (7 minutes journey time from both).  From the Station, it is a 15 minute walk to Castle, bus services and taxis are available.

By Car/Van/Lorry ... 

Please note vehicle access is only via Newlands Road.  There is no vehicle access via Dunster RoadAuthorised visitors (eg contractors, Local Authority staff) should park on site.   All other users are asked to park considerately and legally on public roads nearby.
